Purchase and Sale

Mr.Klein counsels institutional investors, developers, private investors and owners/buyers on most aspects of real estate investment, including purchase and sale of property assets, sale and leaseback of assets, and tax-deferred like-kind property exchanges. He has broad experience in the structuring of multifaceted relationships between parties for the ownership, management or development of real estate, including joint ventures, limited liability companies and subsidiary entities. He has experience with most types of property assets in the commercial, residential, industrial and hospitality sectors and regularly performs due diligence and negotiation of asset transfer.

Financing

Mr. Klein has represented numerous lenders and borrowers in traditional and non-traditional real estate finance transactions, including preparation and negotiation of loan documents, due diligence review and loan closing for mortgage lending, construction and development loans. Clients range from individual borrowers to banking institutions.

Leasing

Mr. Klein provides full-service leasing representation to both landlords and tenants, including office, multi-use, and retail complexes. In addition to the negotiation of individual leases, he helps coordinate the leasing objectives with your overall design, development, and management plans for the property. Related expertise includes negotiation of commission and listing agreements, management agreements, work letters and development agreements, construction and architect contracts, and other agreements with lenders, ground lessors, and other landlords concerning collateral leasing concerns. Mr. Klein has represented tenants in single transactions as well as portfolio-wide representation.
